Sami and Axel live in a housing estate in eastern France. Sami tries his best to bring up his daughter Lana, creating a playful and sensitive universe in the midst of concrete towers. Axel, the neighborhood kingpin, makes everyone smoke about his business dealings and, above all, his sexuality. These ordinary people live next door to each other but don’t know each other. Yet their destinies are bound together.
